For Fall 2010, Alberta Ferretti brings back the flapper motifs of seasons past: beading, fringing and soft hues. Only this time, Ferretti’s vintage flapper girl is a little more fierce.

Hinting at the warrior theme so prevalent in 2010 there’s a definite chainmail feel to some of the beaded pieces. Even the crimp-style pleating on Ferreti’s dresses gave them a less-than-delicate look.
